Owned and managed by myself, Charlie Bruno, CWB Forestry specialises in providing a professional tree care services across all of Cumbria (and beyond). We carry out a variety of forestry and arboricultural services, from small garden tree cutting and pruning jobs to woodland thinning and large site clearances for domestic and commercial clients.
Situated in the northern fells of Cumbria we can easily access the Lake District, coastal regions and the Scottish borders.
From initial site meetings in private gardens to overseeing larger clearance projects for local councils, highways, construction and holiday parks, I pride myself in customer relations throughout.

Removing branches to allow more light to pass through the tree, lower wind resistance and reduce weight of the crown.
Crown Reduction
Selectively reducing the length of tree branches. Work commonly carried out to trees that are beginning to out grow their space, and to reduce effects of shading.
Deadwooding
Safe removal of deceased limbs and branches to reduce danger to property and people.
Crown Lifting
Removal of the lower branches to enable clearance for access, traffic etc..

Woodland management is a vital part to owning woodland, it can be the difference between poor and very high quality timber. From planting to establishing and maintaining, to harvesting and extracting we can carry out all aspects of management to your woodland, leaving it with high amenity and timber value.

Harvesting and extraction on a larger scale using harvesters and forwarders, or for smaller, lower impact jobs, our excavator and timber trailer is ideal for hand cut sites with tight access.
